Thanks for the like Randy. This picture of my enlarger is here because I was requested on the Yahoo NF stereo list to show a picture of my stereo card printing setup. Shows that I still do the old school stuff.
I confess. I saw your famous picture from 30 years ago and made the journey for the express purpose of duplicating your work. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Thanks John. I was experimenting with the Stereomasken software on this one, but on other images such a mask can remove parts of the image that would force the stereo deviation to a point where it would be unpleasant or impossible to view on a large screen, like a stereo TV.
Charles Bridge, or Karluv Most, was built by King Charles in the forteenth century. People brought eggs to put in themortar to make the bridge stronger. For 400 years it was the only way to cross the Vltava riber, which made Prague a very important city for easr west trade. Prague still has many medieval buildings which have been lovingly restored, and Charles Bridge is like the crown jewel of them all. You should visit the city. I have never seen one more beautiful.
I spoke to the clarinet player after their set because he was asking about my camera Rig. And yes, I did throw some Czech Crowns into the banjo case.
Thanks fo liking this and other shots of mine.
I love photos like this one....so interesting and educational. How did you get the colors to be so rich or intense? But, how could the clarinet player play clarinet and talk at the same time? Did you drop any Euros into the clarinet case? And while I'm thinking about it...how old is that famous bridge anyway...built by The Russians when they controlled Prague I suppose....or were they planning to tear it down in favor of a metal span bridge?
Not bad...for a humble mushroom.....reddish one to warn people...and birds....poisonous I assume? Evolution has pulled off some pretty good stunts....eh? But why all the "wavy lines".....what do the wavy lines do to enhance or detract from the mushroom? Wouldn't the image be just as interesting with straight lines..or not.....??? A matter of "being different" which is a virtue in itself?
