Good question. No. I gave a try calibrating the Mac, but it is an old one and the calibration wouldn't save, even if I thought it may look more accurate. I suppose I would need a screen reading dongle and special software.
The next one for North America will be on April 8, 2024. There's already a lot of information available online about it. Here's hoping it will be as spectacular as this one was!
The next one for North America will be in 2027 and will hit Niagara, so, my backyard (and my son's home). I'll have to be better prepared for that one (200mm lens?).
There's depth there, cool! Cha-cha may not be accurate...tango comes to mind! I never cared for the term cha-cha anyway - I like to call it nifty shifty.
This was shot with a Lumix GX1 fitted with a Lumix 3d lens, modifed for Macro focus. I used the pop up flash on the camera. This is, perhaps the simplest stereo camera to operate. The only feature missing is adjustable focus.
