I always loved taking pictures. The first camera I used was a Yashica. That camera was my age (it still is ;-) It was built in 1971 but the quality was good. The technology is now obsolete. I had a few digital cameras and I first tried 3D in 2009, when I bought 2 lowcost Lenco cameras and attached them both to an aluminum rail. The synchronisation was manual... both release buttons had to be pushed at the same time. The picture quality was very poor. The pictures taken in Italy 2009 are all made with that system, you can see them in an album here on Phereo.com.
Later on, I got me a Finepix Real 3D W3 and learned that the 3D is ok, but only at good light conditions. Everything has to be perfectly lit to take good pictures. Settings are poor so there aren't to much possibilities.
Since a short while, I use my Nikon D5000 to make 3D pictures. This gives me also the opportunity to make 3D HDR pictures, another thing I love to do. On Google Earth it is possible you can find one of my 44 (2D) HDR pictures.
For optimalisation of the 3D pictures, I use Stereo Photomaker.
