Your eyes are always at the same distance from each other, but with 2 lenses you can play around with the distance between the lenses and get more depth than in real life. That is something I like the most about 3d photography. Surrealistic images that give something extra.

I like to make 3d pictures wherever I go. For quick small distance shots I use my LG Optimus 3d and LG DXG camera. For large distances I take separate pictures for each eye with my Panasonic TZ40. This way I can get extra depth in the picture. A good app for android devices is 3DSteroidPro.
