I fell in love with stereo-pictures when i was 6 years old (which is now about 40 years ago). Somebody (i´m sorry that i´m not sure if I remember who this was) gave me a thing called View-Master for a birthday present. I haven´t been the same since.... It got me hooked on that special view which seemed to be so much better than reality. Now, 40 years later i´m still searching for that ´special view´ which i still feel to be far away from my perfect goal. But things have become easier since i tried to realize my own 3D anaglyph comicbook - and failed! For a few years there has been a new digital approach to the neverending 3D-story - and maybe - it could become true this time. It has become fairly easy to create good 3D content on a home computer. If the industries believe in what they have been telling us for some years, glasses free 3D should be available and affordable for everyone.
The great barrier between the minority of us 3D enthusiasts and the people who don´t look at all are those glasses.
I´d like to meet you all in a hyper-stereo world.
