We actually camped at this place for a night. It is a bit remote place inside the park, quite a bit of trekking to get here. With some luck I should be able to process batch of stereo stills from this trek soon.
Alex: No. The camera can take 10mp photos....and when you use it in A3D mode (first left, then align scene on the screen and shoot the right)....the resulting resolution is higher than any of the simultaneous 3D modes.. This method is useless for action shots but can / does give good results in planned shots of things not moving.
Great shot. These vistas do need something up close to cue the mind as to the depth in the rest of the image. You've done this really well. I've recently begun to deliberately do this rather than allowing it to occur randomly / accidentally.
For some reason, left and right were reversed in this image compared to the previous two. I've noticed Phereo (may be) is switching the left / right setting every 5 (??) images.....approx. Viewing in windowed mode, not fullscreen.
