I fell in love with stereophotography in 2016. Starting with cha-cha, I quickly evolved toward an hardware-hacked version of my cameras to get better synchronization.
I really like to shoot, so that I have far more potential stereo pairs than I can reasonably develop.
Date taken: 2018-06-16
Camera: 2 × Panasonic Lumix LX5 (hardware hacked for sync)
Alignment software: Hugin + TheGimp & Inkscape for added elements
Post processing notes:
The original photograph is a simple (short) arch under a bridge. It is copied and scaled several times to get extra depth up to the perspective point. Alignment of the copies to be both in the right perspective and stereo was tough. Than I added some "Z" to add a little elements to the boring bare stones and to use a bit of the outside part of the z axis.
Additional notes: You may have to focus at different depths to see all because the Z axis is deeply used (texture & elements).
