On the other hand the beautiful colouring makes the butterflies makes them more valuable to many people who like the bright colours for collecting. Hopefully this is one raised sustainably and not collected from the wild.
Some brightly coloured butterflies are toxic or taste very bad. If you taste on you get very ill and never try that type again. That is what I have read in nature books.
