If you really want to test the kindness and resolve of people, next time take cha-cha instead . . . lol ;-)
I've done it with friends, but never strangers.
Hey, Dark...I have taken so many shots of the blast furnaces, with a lot of them posted here - that's it's probably wearing everybody out. But there are other things there besides the monstrous furnaces. I'm sure I can find something I haven't shot before.
Very nice Tom . . . I really like old abandoned or decrepit places and equipment, but this might come as a bummer moment, now you shouldn't really use this awesome place for the upcoming July challenge . . . :(
I just sent Carl what I thought might be an OK subject for the July monthly challenge earlier this afternoon. I asked to use Something Old & Rusty as the theme . . . and this place is perfect too! I had also asked Carl to stipulate that members should not use a subject that they had already photographed and posted already, but rather try to find something new to you, but of course, old and rusty . . . sorry.
One trick I am just learning is to use long lenses. I just posted an image made with my firmly mounted Canon SX260 cameras using SDM. Zoom right in and stand 8 or 9 feet away.
